United Utilities and Anglian Water have gone out to tender on contracts worth £90m and £22m respectively.
The United Utilities contract, worth up to £90m, will consist of the supply, delivery and installation of inlet screens, screening handling equipment, screen spares and screen maintenance & overhaul services.
It is expected that United Utilities will accept up to 6 participants onto the 10 year contract.
The Anglian Water contract, worth up to £22m, will consist of the design, the supply and installation of a tertiary solids treatment plant which will remove suspended solids from sewage.
The contract will be 3 years.
